Our largest flat pack office is created by linking two of our 6.5m office cabins side by side.This bundle includes:2no. 6.5m x 2.3m flat pack offices (grey white)1no. 6.5m side linking kitWhen you have limited access to deliver portable accommodation our flat pack office range provides the perfect solution. It enables users to move all the components by hand to the required erection area which can even be inside buildings or multi-storey car parks. This can save significant delivery costs – such as large mobile cranes, trackway or skating teams.This side linked bundle offers two of our large 6.5m cabins joined with the side linking kit creating an open space to accommodate larger teams or for other uses such as points of access, entry testing or control (for example signing in areas, health and safety documents, or covid test information etc).With the 6.5m x 4.6m side linked cabin you have the choice to use one or both pedestrian doors. If you choose to use both doors these can be installed on any two of the four sides to give maximum on-site flexibility. This is especially useful when you are using the units to manage the movement of people within your workplace. You can even move the doors at a later time, or relocate the whole building as the project or requirements change and evolve.The side linked bundle benefits from plenty of light with 4 windows included, although these can also be swapped out with surplus solid panels (these are spare side panels not needed as the unit is linked). This is especially useful when you need privacy or interior/exterior wall space.If you need even larger spaces you will have the opportunity to add additional side linked 6.5m offices. Each additional office added will provide an additional pedestrian door and two additional windows. Please note that additional units for this bundle can only be added side-linked.The largest and heaviest part on the 6.5m office is the roof panel. If you need to move the components over long distances or through restricted spaces you may find the 3.3m x 4.6m linked office building or the 4.3m x 4.6m linked office building easier. However for easier access sites where perhaps the components can be moved mechanically or simply where you need a larger cost-effective building space these are ideal.
Customer Arranged Freight
All customers have the option to arrange their freight, speak to your Sales Rep who may be able to offer you some compensation towards your freight costs.
Purchasers' right to select and manage their own delivery cost:
- TOW will assist in the process and offer guidance if a purchaser would like to arrange their delivery.
- TOW require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice prior to the purchaser arranged freight collection.is
Delivery Methods
As our items are large, we use various couriers and freight services depending on the item and location.
Delivery
When your order is dispatched, you will receive an email detailing the courier or freight company name, and an approximate delivery date. We will also instruct the driver to call before they deliver.
We are not responsible for any additional fees/permits/costs/charges that are imposed by the delivery location.
Unloading At Destination
Unless pre-arranged and cost agreed, the purchaser is required to have a forklift on site and is responsible for unloading. The purchaser may be charged for a failed delivery if suitable equipment is not available on site for unloading. TOW is not responsible for any delivery delays once your items have been collected by a transport company.
Product Placement
- We only allow for the product to be placed within 20 metres of an accessible, unobstructed entry, suitable for the vehicle delivering the product.
- Unless agreed to in writing prior to dispatch, our delivery services do not include lifting over, under, into or onto any structures, placing in or on a specific location like foundations or footings.
- Charges may be incurred by the purchaser due to unsuitable site conditions, e.g. preparation, weather, off-loading delays, etc.
- It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure the delivery site is clear, easily accessible and a forklift is available for unloading if required.
- Delivery denied once approved by the purchaser may incur a fee payable by the purchaser.
- Incorrect delivery information resulting in freight delays may incur a fee payable by the purchaser.
Special Requirements for 40ft Portable Buildings
- Delivery is by semi-trailer. The building is to be lifted off by the customer at the final destination.
- Installation, i.e. placement, lifting the two side roofs, lowering floors, and lifting walls, is by crane (provided by customer).
Defects And Items Damaged In Transit
If any items arrive with defects or damage, the customer must notify us within 5 days of delivery by phone on 61 3 4240 6898 and email images and details to sales@transportholding.com. Once your notification has been received and verified, a TOW representative will be in contact to assist.
